「The Queen's New Capital（ザ・クイーンズ・ニューキャピタル）」は暴虐の王を打ち破った女王による新たな王国を舞台に、プレイヤーは派閥の1つとなって国の復興に最も貢献することで首都に選ばれることを目指すボードゲームです。ゲームシステムはエンジンビルディングとデッキビルディングで構成されています。
"The Queen's New Capital" is a board game set in a new kingdom with a queen who has defeated a tyrannical king, where players must become one of the factions and contribute the most to the restoration of the country in order to be chosen as the capital. The game system consists of engine building and deck building.
ゲームの流れ / How to play
このゲームは1ラウンドにつき発展フェイズ、危機フェイズ、得点フェイズの3つのフェイズの順にゲームを進行します。
The game is played in three phases in one round: DEVELOPMENT PHASE, CRISIS PHASE, and SCORE PHASE, in that order.
発展フェイズではデッキのカードから6枚のカードを手札に加え、そのうち4枚のカードを使用して建物の建設や部隊のリーダーの雇用、危機への防衛、デッキの拡充を行います。
In DEVELOPMENT PHASE, six cards from the deck are added to the hand, and four of these cards are used to construct buildings, hire a leader, defend for crisis or expand the deck.
・建物は描かれたアイコンの数が得点フェイズでのそれぞれの得点になります。1つの建物に部隊のリーダーを2枚まで配置することができます。建物は3レベルまで上げることが可能でさらに高得点を狙うことができます。
・Up to two troop leaders can be placed in each building. Buildings can be raised to three levels for even higher scoring.
・危機フェイズに備えて、赤、青のアクションカードを裏向きで自分のボードの前に配置します。
・Place the red and blue Action cards face down in front of your board in preparation for CRISIS PHASE.
・緑のアクションカードは部族のリーダーの雇用やアクションカードを新たにデッキに加えることができます。また、建物にのった暴動トークンを取り除くことも可能です。
・Green Action cards can be used to hire tribal leaders or add new Action cards to the deck. It can also remove Rebellion tokens on buildings.
危機フェイズ / CRISIS PHASE
全員が手札の4枚のカードを使用し、追加アクションを行った後、戦乱の危機と政治の危機が発生します。
After everyone has used the 4 cards in their hand and performed additional actions, a Warfare Crisis and a Political Crisis occur.
各プレイヤーは裏向きに配置した赤と青のアクションカードを表向きにして全員アクションカードの剣と王冠のアイコンの数量を見てそれぞれの危機を鎮圧できているかどうかを確認します。
Each player reveal the red and blue Action cards placed face down and everyone looks at the quantity of sword and crown icons on the action cards to see if each crisis has been defused.
戦乱の危機 / Warfare Crisis
もし戦乱の危機を鎮圧できていれば1番多く剣のアイコンの数があったプレイヤーは追加カードトークン1つを獲得します。剣のアイコンの数が足りなかった場合、プレイヤーは暴動トークンを1つ受け取り任意の建物の上にのせます。
If the threat of warfare is suppressed, the player with the highest number of sword icons wins an extra card token. If there are not enough sword icons, the player receives a Rebellion token and places it on any building.
政治の危機 / Political Crisis
全員の王冠のアイコンの合計数が指定された数に達しているか確認します。もし達成していた場合1番多くの王冠があるプレイヤーはアクションカードを新たに山札に加えるか、新たにリーダーを雇用することができます。
The total number of crown icons for all players is checked to see if the specified number has been reached. If it has, the player with the most crowns can add a new Action card to the deck or hire a new leader.
もし合計数が足りなかった場合は各プレイヤーは暴動トークン1つを任意の建物の上にのせます。
If the total number is not reached, each player places a Rebellion token on any buildings.
得点フェイズ / SCORE PHASE
ゲームの勝者 / POINTS OF WINNER
危機フェイズを終えると得点フェイズに移ります。自分の所有する建物に記載されているアイコンの数だけ得点します。このとき暴動トークンが置かれている建物は得点を数えることができません。
After CRISIS PHASE, the game moves to SCORE PHASE. You score as many points as the number of icons on the buildings you own. Buildings with Rebellion token are not counted in the SCORE PHASE.
アイコンはInfluence, Might, Morale, Wealthの4つがあり、それぞれ得点が5点に達すると自分のボードにある褒章トークンを1個を得点ボードに配置します。その後、得点をリセットします。ゲーム毎に設定された褒章トークンが集まると、そのラウンド終了時にゲームが終了し、最も多く褒章トークンを得点ボードに配置したプレイヤーがゲームの勝者です。
There are 4 icons: Influence, Might, Morale, and Wealth, and when the score reaches 5 points for each of these icons, a Seal token from your board is placed on the scoring board. The score is then reset. The game ends at the end of the round when all Seal tokens set for each game are collected, and the player who has placed the most Seal tokens on the score board is the winner of the game.
ユニークな効果を持ったアクションカード、リーダーカードが多数収録されており、繰り返し遊びたくなる作品でした。
It contained many Action cards and Leader cards with unique effectsthat made me want to play it over and over again.
